It is possible for the measured creatine kinase to come from muscles or the heart; the MB fraction is used to differentiate that coming from the heart and MM for that coming from the muscles. You are right that the MB fraction as well as Troponin helps to determine if there is heart muscle injury and alcohol may contribute because of tendency to injury to muscles and others like nerves and liver.

Alcohol can explain elevated CK and more. Alcohol is a poison that never did anybody any good, ever, so stay away from it. It will destroy your brain cells, damage testicular cells that make testosterone, facilitate development of cancer in many organs, cause hepatitis, cirrhosis and pancreatitis etc. There is no safe level of alcohol intake. Quit while you are ahead.
