Total CK: The MB fraction is specific to cardiac muscle. If that is normal a you did not have a miocardial infarction or miocarditis. Elevation of CK comes from injury to the muscles , like trauma or severe excercise . it may come from some muscle disease like myopathy or dermatomyositis . Other causes are hypothyroidism ,CVA, hypo/hyperthermia, septicemia and diabetic ketoacidosis. IM injections another .
