I dont understand this. they tell you to be hydrated when taking a urine test. but yet the urine is clear basically & now they say diluted urine can change things on a dipstick test. so how would i know if i really have protein in my urine?

Protein in urine: Ask them to do a 24 hr urine or likely they will do urine protein creatinine test on any urine. Also ask your team they may have better answer as I do not know the lab.
