Myself and my partner tested positive for covid 19 my question is must we isolate in separate rooms?

Depends: If you got the infection as about the same time and there are no other members in the household, there is no need for isolation. If there are other members in the house you could isolate in one room. Wish you good health!

COVID 19: If you were both infected around the same time, it is likely that you both have the same strain of COVID 19. If you are the only people in the house, then there would not be concern about a COVID 19 positive person transmitting virus to a COVID 19 negative individual. Thus, you would not need to isolate from each other.
