Is it normal for your bladder to be sluggish after conscious sedation. had my gj tube changed. going pee it takes a little bit to get started. how long before that system is working better? what can i do to speed bladder emptying up?

Several things : Discuss this change with your doc, since it is new. Review regular meds with doc or pharmacist (anti depressants, and Some GI or GU Meds have these side effects). In the interim, use physical pressure on bladder while voiding to assist in ‘squeezing out’ urine, and do get a residual urine eval to ensure that the bladder is emptying adequately. Good luck!
