SIP done at 12 weeks: While SIP testing relies on a blood draw at 12 weeks, the testing you do at 16-20 weeks, called the triple or quadruple screen, is still very important. SIP is only one of a collection of prenatal tests to help identify the most common genetic and congenital abnormalities. Please discuss this with your ob/gyn or midwife.
