Irregular periods: Irregular bleeding or spotting is common in the first three to four months after you stop taking the pill. This should subside once your body adjusts to the lack of added hormones. Your body will re-regulate its normal hormones as time passes and you will see you menstrual cycle become regular again. At that point your body is ready to conceive. Until then use a non hormonal contraceptive method .
