How is epididymitis treated when antibiotics dont work? i was told by one urologist all he could offer is a direct injection, but im 19 and absolutely do not want to risk infertility. it is causing extreme discomfort and often time a lot of pain?

Epididymitis: This is a peculiar situation. At your age, epididymitis usually is chlamydia or gonorrhea, or less commonly a non-STD urinary tract infection. Abscess is possible. Other possibilities include side effects of certain drugs. If gonorrhea, chlamydia or UTI, maybe you have not yet had the right antibiotic.
