I hurt my knee while jogging back on may 2nd. i kept doing my weekly runs thru june although my knee would hurt again after each time. i finally stopped b/c i feared i may be messing it up more. it's still not fully healed so i'm thinking i should see someone. where should i start? knee injury?

Primary care doctor: It is generally good to start with your primary care provider who can perform an assessment and determine if you need to be referred to a specialist and if needed which specialist. In the mean time find an alternative way to exercise, even if you exercise only the upper body. Wish you good health!

GP: I agree with Dr. Singh. Primary care providers should be equipped to examine knees and will refer to a specialist if needed.
