Vaginal Discharges: The normal vagina is moist and can have a clear or whitish discharge. The character of this discharge can change over the course of the menstrual cycle too. Vaginal infections typically have changes in discharge color &/or odor & may have genital irritation as well. STIs, however, are often asymptomatic. Hence the need for routine screening. Exam & simple office tests can make a diagnosis.
