Yes: Chalazion will often disappear without further treatment within a few months and virtually will re-absorb within two years. Some require steroid injections if they persist or enlarge rapidly.

Some do.: If there is no pain, you can try using warm compresses to help it resolve more quickly. If it does not resolve or if there is pain (which may indicate an infection), you should see your ophthalmologist.

No: They need some treatment. Hot compresses with a moist wash cloth for 10 minutes 4-6 times a day will help it drain. If large however it is best to have it drained by a simple procedure done in the office. The hot compresses will take time for it to resolve, we are talking about a month or more.
