Timing Sex for Baby: A general rule is to have sex every other day during your fertile time. When you ovulate the egg, it can be fertilized for about 18 hours. The sperm live in your body for about 2-3 days. If a man has normal semen then i suggest that you not worry if you are in the mood for more but with low sperm count, too much can be a problem. Check ovulation timing for efficiency. Good luck.

Does not matter: Fertility rates are highest with daily intercourse and almost identical on "every other day". Less frequent sex results in less pregnancies. The most fertile time is the mid-cycle. If you are not having intercourse but an insemination instead, then 1 day of abstinence can improve the sperm count in some men.
