Hi i have a friend who did some heavy lifting and afterwards he has been bleeding from his rectum what should he do?

Hemorrhoid : He probably has a hemorrhoid. He should see his pcp, gastroenterlogist or surgeon. In the meantime sitz baths and topical treatments. If the bleeding is a lot then he should go to tte emergency room.
