Irregular bleeding: Irregular bleeding can be caused by hormonal fluctuations. Use of Oral/IM contraceptives, pregnancy, stress, exercise, weight loss/gain and sleep disturbances can cause menstrual cycles to lengthen or shorten, become heavier or lighter, or even have irregular spotting.
