I have mononucleosis right now and i also just got my period at the same time. is that going to negatively affect me? ive been experiencing lightheadedness randomly and became concerned.

Basics: Mono is an illness with variable intensity/symptoms. Most teens will remain symptomatic for 3 weeks & gradually recover. Some are ill for up to 3 months. As long as you get adequate sleep & nutrition you should get through it okay. Menses has little to do with the illness but may intensify symptoms. Follow up with your doc as needed.
