I got called back for additional 3d xrays on my right breast. they did nine additional xrays. how much radiation is this ? i have to go back again in three months for more xrays. should i tell them to go light on xrays and do an ultrasound instead?

Radiographs: Today's digital imaging uses very little radiation since the "film" is actually a sensor that is very sensitive and does not require much to capture an image. Radiographs and ultrasound are quite different in the information they obtain. Your physician is concerned about what has been seen in prior images and wants make sure you're taken care of correctly.
