Sinusitis treatment: This is a peculiar combination of antibiotics. It is unlikley that both sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim (Purbac) and doxycycline are necessary. Doxycycline can cause stomach upset; taking it with food probably will help. Discuss with the doctor who prescribed them. Good luck.
