Septal defect where?: Not being able to get an erection I would recommend trial of Viagra Cialis or Levitra drugs for rectal dysfunction. If not effective recommend a physician do a lab evaluation to look for low testosterone a prolactin secreting tumor or hormone in balance checking lab work FSH and LH prolactin level total and free testosterone TSH. Looking for medical crisis

ED: Please see your doctor. He/she can order some lab test to check your hormone levels and look for other possible causes if needed. Most young males w/ED have stress-related causes for this. Sometimes the more you focus on a situation, the more self-conscious and worse it becomes. Please see your doc. Peace and good health.

ED: I assume you have congenital heart disease with an interatrial or interventricular septal defect. I would ask your cardiologist if your cardiac status is severe enough to cause erectile dysfunction. I would be surprised if it is the cause. If not due to cardiac status, consult a urologist or visit a men's health care clinic for evaluation and advice.
