Uterine polyps ?'s: Uterine polyps are benign growths originating in the uterine lining, and occur on narrow stalks which can twist secondary to uterine contractions, cutting off blood supply and causing deteriorization of the polyp tissue, allowing bleeding to occur when the polyp "untwists".
