More info needed: Upper abdominal discomfort can be caused by gastritis, pancreatitis, peptic ulcer, stomach cancer,gall bladder pathology ,indigestion or simple abdominal muscular strain, ventral hernia,etc. More description of your symptoms is needed in order to advise you. If symptoms are severe, see a physician. Otherwise eat a bland soft diet, no alcohol, take an antacid like mylanta and see MD as needed.
