Maybe not: There are several std's including gonorrhea and chlamydia that may not cause symptoms in some people.For that reason screening occasionally if you are sexually active is part of the realistic approach to sex. Both gonorrhea & chlamydia can result in female sterility if not adequately treated.

Get tested: Anybody who has exposure to one STD or even has one’s STD should be checked for all STDs including gonorrhea chlamydia HIV and syphilis
