Check with officials: Check with your local health officials for your area. From CDC website: "The highest risk gatherings are medium or large in person gatherings where it is difficult for individuals to remain spaced at least 6 feet apart and attendees travel from outside the local area." This may be the case with a wedding if people are traveling in from other regions. cdc.gov provides comprehensive guidelines.

COVID 19: There risks involved with public gatherings. People may travel from outside your region to attend a wedding. Will it be indoors or outdoors? In crowded, poorly ventilated area? Will their be social distancing? Will everyone wear masks? How many will attend? The earlier recommendation to ask your local health department makes sense. But, there is risk involved.
