A member asked:

Is 34 days after sex long enough to wait for an accurate pregnancy test? it was negative this morning and i followed instructions correctly. had sex 12 days before ovulation day. no ejaculation.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not likely pregnant: Most pregnancy tests will turn positive between 2-3 weeks after conception. If you had intercourse unprotected in the past 3 weeks pregnancy could still be possible but if you have not, or used a very reliable method then you would be evaluated for other reasons of late menses.
