Woke up this morning with a numbness on my left third toe. it feels stiff when i try to bend it. it does not look discolored. what do you think is causing it ?

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. From what you described, it does not seem to be a serious matter. Give it a few days and it may resolve. Make sure to wear well fitting shoes. If it does not get better in a week, it would be prudent to see your doctor. Wish you good heath!
