ZA or USA?: In South Africa one needs to consult with a medical provider who will make determination about whether to test for COVID 19 or not. You can consult your local primary care provider. There are also other resources such as “Talk –to-Doctor” on HealthTap. In USA policy varies by state.

See below: Covid-19: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html Please contact your doctor by phone for further evaluation and mechanism for testing in your area. Wear a mask, stay away from others, practice hand hygiene. Be sure to get tested, if you get symptoms. If you develop breathing difficulty, go to the nearest hospital, immediately. Wish you good health.
