Leave it alone: Pus within a pimple/abscess will either erupt when its ready or be absorbed & dissolved by normal body defenses. If you squeeze it it can penetrate deeper into the nearby tissues & cause a deeper abscess or permanent scaring. If this happens a lot a dermatologist can selectively open these so they heal quicker.
