Excess bleeding ?: Sustained vaginal bleeding for "40-50 days" may indicate pregnancy outside the uterus (ectopic), polyps, fibroid tumors, or long periods of no ovulation at "age 43" resulting in breakthrough bleeding from overly stimulated uterine lining by estrogen. See your gyn physician for an exam and ultrasound, and first obtain a serum HCG test to be certain about pregnancy.
