Multiple conditions: Among the causes are Musculoskeletal pain, cardiac, pulmonary and GI complications. Please discuss a work up with your PCP, if Motrin and a heating pad do no resolve the problem. If there was an injury, direct blunt trauma, a chest image and EKG are suggested right away. Please see urgent care for acute worsening.
