A member asked:

Is it better for women to have children at a younger or older age? and what about for men?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Mixed issue: For women it seems smart to wait until you are ready for the process but as you pass the fertile years of the mid 20's it can be harder & past 35-40 the risk's increase. Men seem to get a pass on risks & can be fertile well into their 60's & beyond. The idea of "better" is just relative. When you can provide a stable home & your partner will share the work , the time is good.
