A member asked:

So i've been struggling with severe anxiety for a while with symptoms including cold sweats, hyperventilating/difficulty breathing, dizziness and on some occasions a numb feeling on the left side of my chest. could it be coronary artery desease?

Unlikely: Given your age & the pattern it does not suggest cardiac disease. You can always get a checkup & have your doc sort it out.

Uncertain: The most important question is if you have had a physical workup yet. It is best to rule out physical causes before assuming that you are experiencing panic attacks.
