A member asked:

Are transexual women biologically considered females and are they capable of getting pregnant?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Black, white, gray: Life is not so black and white. Some people are biologically in the gray zone, between biological male and female. That is why the options are to make everyone in the gray zone to select a label of male or female, or just use a third descriptor for the gray zone (which is what's done now). Whether or not a person can get pregnant is more complicated as various body parts are involved.
