Dietician: Consult a dietician at your local hospital for 1 visit. You will be told your ideal weight,how many daily calories to consume depending upon your level of physical activity. Your eating habits will be critiqued and you'll be given sample diets. You have to cut out 500 calories a day for a week to lose 1 pound. You want slow,steady weight loss to reach your goal. No crash diets.

Nutritionist: I agree with the earlier recommendation. You can be educated about a good nutrition plan and get coaching/support at the same time.
