A member asked:

Can someone has gonorrhea with no symptoms?, and what happens over time?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: If asymptomatic gonorrhea goes undetected and untreated it can lead to severe complications and damage even years later including appearance of urinary burning and urethral discharge. It may take years but sometimes the infection resolves in asymptomatic cases. Asymptomatic infections can still be transmitted.
