A member asked:

Good day i someotimes have a sore throat and i think it is one of the symptoms for covid. but also think that is cause by not having much sunlight in my apartment and it is always cold. mostly happens at night i get a sore throat.should i be worried?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Many causes: Sore throat can be due to viruses (like COVID but usually fever/cough/breathing issues with COVID), strep, allergies. Nighttime sore throats can be caused by allergy drainage. Try an antihistamine at bedtime & plenty of fluids during the day & time outside in sun to get natural vitamin D . If persists or you develop fever/cough/shortness of breath call Dr
