Maybe/not: Eye allergies to wind borne allergens can trigger some discharge, but it is usually clear & the eyes itch. What you describe may have started with allergic drainage but now sounds more like an infectious process. It can be either viral or bacterial & may need specific treatment. I would contact your doc & discuss the symptoms.
