Severe COVID-19 Sx: There are many symptoms that can occur with COVID-19, including fever, headache, sore throat, cough, gastrointestinal symptoms, and loss of taste/smell. Severe COVID-19 symptoms that require hospitalization include lightheadedness, significant shortness of breath (unable to catch breath or speak in full sentences), and persistent chest pain while taking deep breaths or while coughing.
