Treatment: If the rash is beginning to improve on prescribed medication, then a short swim with a parent is fine. Avoid over immersion of the area for more than 10 minutes, use sun and pool safety measures. Apply a treatment for candida rash as prescribed by your pediatrician. Keep the area clean and dry and watch for pus, swelling and redness.
