Depends on the test: And what is offered by your obgyn. Serum screening using serum markers or more recently free fetal dna are commonly used as early as 9 weeks. She should speak to her obgyn about what tests are available for her. I would imagine that at 15 weeks she would be offered serum marker screening. And at 20 weeks she will get a ultrasound.
