What could be causing whitish thread like substances protruding from the skin of parts of my friend every morning and the later on falling off? she thinks that she accidentally transfered herpes from her sore. she is taking zovirax. what could it be?

Repeat question: Same answer as yesterday. This description doesn't sound like herpes. Also, if you're the person who asked about self-transfer of herpes to a new area (autoinoculation), that almost certainly does not explain this problem. Your friend needs to see a doctor and stop assuming it's a herpes problem.
