I started taking famynor contraceptives on the first day of my periods last week thursday. on saturday my periods stopped, then started again on sunday night and haven't stopped till now. normally my periods take 3/4days. i have stopped the pill.

Common side effect: One of the most common side effects of hormonal contraceptives is irregular prolonged menstrual bleeding or spotting. This typically occurs within the first year of treatment and tapers off after the first year. Talk to your doctor if these symptoms are not going away or if you would like to change your method of birth control. You will need to restart the pills.
