A member asked:

Could chronic relatively low levels of potassium (3.2 - 3.4) lead to wide spread muscle weakness without any other symptoms?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Low potassium: It is possible that your low potassium is contributing to muscle cramps. If you aren't taking any medications that lower potassium, taking potassium bicarbonate as a supplement might be helpful. I would also supplement with at least two forms of magnesium because potassium and magnesium deficiency often go together.
