I am 39 weeks pregnant and i have been getting contractions that only last for the night and stop in the morning. could this be latent labour or just braxton hicks?

Contractions: Braxton-Hicks contractions versus Real contractions: Tightening or squeezing but not usually painful versus tightening or cramping that comes in waves starting in the back and moving to the front, getting more intense and painful over time.

Pregnancy: They are likely Braxton Hicks contractions but the only way to tell for sure is to have your health care provider check your cervix for flattening and dilatation. If the cervix is rapidly changing over hours, you are dealing with true labor. Good luck. I have delivered thousands of babies and each case was wonderful!
