Not without OK by MD: No! Purbac is a combination of two antibiotics ( sulfamethoxazole & trimethoprim). It should only be used for infections that may respond to it. Diarrhea is often caused by a virus & so this will not help. It will not help if the cause is a parasite or if you have a chronic illness that has diarrhea for a symptom. Nor can it help diarrhea that is caused by some medication or supplement. See doc

Purbac: This medication is a combination of two antibiotics: sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim. It is used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections (middle ear, urine, respiratory, and intestinal infections). It should only be used if prescribed by a Dr. Since Diarrhea can be caused by many things, including viruses, it would be unwise to take this med. It can cause severe side effects.
