COVID 19: Believe it or not, a symptom as simple as a scratchy throat could be COVID 19. You would be putting others at risk if you went to work. Symptoms of COVID 19 infection may include (but aren’t limited to) dry cough, shortness of breath, nasal congestion, fever, headache, sore throat, feeling tired, loss of sense of taste/smell, decreased appetite, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting & chills .

Local issue/?: I would assume you are infected as those who are positive can pass it for ~ 2 days before any symptoms & then for at least 2 wks into the process. Your work HR department would likely have guidelines for you returning. If you sanitize your hands a lot & wear a KN95 mask (or similar) you would less likely to pass the germ. Usually your work would answer this question.
