I seem to have a minor perineum tear. how can i heal it. it hurts when i poop but doesnt hurt during sexual intercourse. please help?

Clean and protect : Since this is an unclean area, it may prove difficult,to,heal. If it is minor, you can try to cleanse it with a Betadine or Phisohex scrub, dry, add mupirocin or triple antibiotic ointment twice daily and cover with dry sterile dressing. Repeat after each BM or intercourse. Use stool softeners such as Miralax or Colace And perhaps pause intercourse for a week to allow healing. See a doc if needed.
