Basics: Chlamydia can enter the upper female genital tract & damage sensitive areas of the tubes.Scarring can cause them to function poorly. Since you can have chlamydia with few or no symptoms by the time you do it may have created a problem. Your OBGYN can do some testing.The cited average wait for a desired pregnancy is 6 mo,range wks to a year.
