See below: YES- pain and bleeding can be caused when the hymen is broken- it is a thin membrane around the vaginal opening - some women have no or very small hymens- today women are active - bike riding, horseback riding, etc. cause the hymen to tear -so whether or not you have blood or pain is not a good measure of virginity - talk with your boyfriend, do some reading -a relationship needs trust

Life goes both ways: It should not be normal for a boyfriend to "suspect" which episode of sex it is for the girl. Likewise, it should not be normal for a girlfriend to "suspect" which episode of sex it is for the boy. There should be no "suspecting" because that makes things odd, as does placing a particular value on which episode of sex it is. That said, the information helps decide the amount of STD risk from sex.
