That depends: Surface contamination is minor mode of transmission. Incubation period is usually 2 to 14 days (median of 4 to 5 days). If friend has been asymptomatic for 7 days, the risk is not that high from touching glass. However, if it was a confined, poorly ventilated space & without masks that is a different matter. If someone coughs or sneezes directly at you, droplets can travel more than 6 feet.
