A member asked:

With 117,000 americans dead from covid, we just passed the 116,000 deaths (1957) and the 100,000 deaths (1968) of our 2 flu pandemics of the past century. is there anything new we can do, now that summer is almost here?

Nothing new: The standard advice still applies: social distancing, surgical masking, frequent hand washing or sanitizer, heep hands away from face especially when around other people or in public spaces. Avoid prolonged exposure with other persons in closed spaces (e.g. small rooms, cars). Summer may be lower risk if the virus becomes seasonal, and outdoor activities appear to be quite safe.
