B12: B12 injections are only for the treatment of B12 deficiency and if your levels are normal they will not increase.Your symptoms that you describe are not specifically related to B12 deficiency.

Frequency of shots: Some patients require more frequent injections to maintain proper levels of b12. It is important to "load up" the patient with very frequent injections for the first month of treatment of true B12 deficiency. Pain under the right ribs can come from problems with the gall bladder or liver and occasionally from problems at the base of the right lung. Your md will advise you further.
