Likely infection: This could be a viral or a bacterial infection. Any fever? Any cough. If throat pain is severe & if tonsils are significantly swollen may want to get checked for Strep throat. Mononucleosis can present with swollen glands. It might even be a less typical expression of COVID. Consider a consult with your doctor.
